Microphlebectomy
Large bulging veins are best removed directly through tiny "pinhole" punctures in the skin in a procedure called microphlectomy. The pinholes are closed with Steri-strips and no sutures are required. The procedure is done in the office with the patient wide awake with minimal discomfort. The largest veins can be removed using this state-of-the-art procedure. The patient is left with no large scars as in the past. Déjà Vu is the only clinic in the Tri-state performing this procedure outside of the hospital or surgery center where costs are much higher. Patients usually return to light work and normal activities the next day.
