Carleen M. Rubel is a native of Michigan. She and her husband, Lance, moved to Evansville in 1993. Carleen earned her BS in nursing, with a minor in psychology, from Oakland University in Rochester, MI in 1986. She received her master's degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from USI in 2005. She went on to complete a second master's degree from USI as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008.

Carleen has worked in family practice for many years, most recently at the ECHO Clinic in Evansville, serving the underprivileged. Her medical interests include women's health, pediatrics, dermatology, geriatrics, and preventative medicine. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Her personal interests focus on her family, including her two children and three cats. She enjoys reading, swimming, cooking, and travel.

Shannon Kratzer is a native of Southern Indiana. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana University Southeast in 1995. She graduated from the USI family nurse practitioner program in May 2009. As a registered nurse, she has experience in intensive care, emergency medicine, and family practice.

Shannon enjoys all aspects of family practice. It allows her to put her experience in the ICU and ER to work while developing lasting relationships with her patients. She is particularly interested in preventative care, women's health and ultrasound orthopedic guided injections. She likes taking care of patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Shannon is married and has two children. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family

Shauntrece Deters is a native of Southern Indiana. She received her associates in nursing from the University of Kentucky in 1997 and her bachelor's degree in nursing from USI. She graduated from the USI family nurse practitioner program in May 2010. As a registered nurse, she has had a variety of experience in nursing and leadership roles including Neuro/Trauma ICU, ER, family practice, surgery, and volunteering for the Hope Medicial Crisis Team after Katrina and during Rita.

Shauntrece enjoys all aspects of family practice. She is particularly interested in preventative care, dermatology, pediatrics, and geriatrics. She enjoys taking care of people of all ages. Shauntrece is married and has two children. She enjoys reading, biking, fishing, hiking, swimming, and volunteering in the community with her family.

Shauntrece Deters

RN, BSN, MSN, FNP-BC

Elise R. Schutt is a native of Southern Indiana. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Southern Indiana in 2006. She graduated from the USI family nurse practitioner program in May 2010. As a registered nurse, she has experience in pulmonary medical-surgical background as well as pediatrics and pediatric intensive care. She has also participated in the pediatric transport team transporting ill or injured children via ambulance from smaller outlying hospitals.

Elise enjoys all facets of family practice. She is particularly interested in preventive care, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The nurse practitioner role allows her to work with all ages and establish lifelong relationships with her patients. Elise is married and has one cat. She enjoys singing, swimming, attending church, spending time with her family, and travel.
